    Our history

LES NETONAIS brings together the alumni of the Lycée de Nkol-Eton, today the Lycée bilingue de Nkol-Eton, in Yaoundé. The association was born on 25 November 2017, at the home of a former pupil's parents, from the wish to keep alive the bonds formed at school and turn them into a force for mutual aid.

    The school

Anyone who attended the school for at least one year may become a member, regardless of sex, tribe or religion. This shared memory is the foundation of the association.

  3. 03

    Our values

Unity, solidarity, progress: the motto is not a slogan. It means a relief fund everyone contributes to, everyone present in happy and unhappy times alike, and projects carried together.

    How we work

The general assembly meets every month, on the third Sunday, at a member's home following a hosting rota. An executive board of eight positions, elected for two years, coordinates the life of the association. The rules are set by the statutes and internal rules, adopted and revised in assembly.

  5. Our statutory goals

    1. 1Strengthen solidarity and mutual aid among members.
    2. 2Contribute to development within the association.
