How we are organised

The general assembly

It brings all members together every month, on the third Sunday, at a member's home in rotation. Decisions are taken there, the tontine is read and projects are followed up.

The executive board

Elected for a renewable two-year term, it prepares the assemblies, carries out their decisions and runs the association day to day.

Committees

Delegations represent the association at weddings and funerals; a council of elders examines disputes and complaints between members.

Members

Active member

Takes part in the tontine and in every activity of the association.

Passive member

Does not take part in the tontine, but joins every other activity and contribution.

Wherever you live

In Yaoundé, elsewhere in Cameroon or abroad: everyone keeps their place in the association, with obligations adapted to where they live.

Our founding texts

The statutes set the aims and organisation of the association; the internal rules cover day-to-day life: meetings, contributions, events, tontine and discipline. They are adopted and revised in general assembly.
